We began over 50 years ago in a Baptist pastor's home in Michigan. He was looking for beautiful art that represented the Christian calendar and would also inspire people to a deeper faith in God. He began what was then called Baptist Bulletin Service. The early bulletins consisted of mostly one or two color pictures. While Baptist churches continue to be a large portion of our business, we now serve almost every denomination in areas all over the world. We have also gone from those original one color products to full use of four-color pictures. Cathedral Press is located in Long Prairie, Minnesota. It is a town of about 3,000 residents, and is located 125 miles northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. Call us at 800-874-8332 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Central Time, Monday through Friday. This picture shows moveable carts that contain orders ready to be imprinted for the churches that have ordered that service. On the right side of the picture are some of the file drawers which contain the printing plates used for our imprinting service. We can store up to 24,000 plates. Our primary business is publishing and supplying churches with bulletins for their weekly or special services. We are also able to provide churches with almost anything that they may need for their ministry. This includes the letterhead and envelopes necessary for communication with persons affiliated with the church. We also have available many of the accoutrements used in worship, including communion ware and offering plates. We can supply the communion wafers and glasses. We have offering envelopes, too. In terms of furnishing a church, we carry chairs and tables, pulpits, flags (American and Christian), and many other items that make a church functional. A listing of our products includes: Weekly bulletin
covers The people who staff our office, the quality of our product, and our commitment to service make us unique. We allow our customers to begin their subscription to our weekly service at any time. We permit changes to orders whenever necessary, provided your order for that quarter has not been processed. Many times orders that require minimum processing, placed at the beginning of the day, are shipped that afternoon. Another service that sets us apart is the imprinting we offer, to be printed on the bottom of the front page of our bulletins. The imprint can include the name and address of the church, the name or names of the pastoral staff, phone numbers, and other information, as long as it fits in 5 lines of type. Not every bulletin company offers this. Here again, we permit changes at any time if the order has not already been printed for that quarter. There is a charge for the imprinting service, but it works out to just a few cents per page. More than the quality of our product and our commitment to service, our philosophy and our beliefs set us apart. Our approach to our art is conservative in nature. Our beliefs are evangelical and fundamental. We choose themes that are based squarely on the Bible. |
